CAA is an innovative, progressive and outcome-oriented program designed to: Assist people with Cognitive and or physical disabilities to integrate into the arts and entertainment activities in and around the community, and state;
Advocate for the artistic and human rights of people with disabilities; encourage and assist people with disabilities to fulfill their lifelong ambitions through the creative process, and to pursue a career in the visual, performance arts media and entertainment fields; Support and assist individual artists with disabilities to professionally exhibit and market their work, and earn income from the vocational training provided from CAA instruction, guidance, and onsite training; Assist and develop a person’s growth and creative ability through increased opportunity to experiment with different media, techniques and materials; and to associate and collaborate with other artists at CAA and in the community; Use the media, entertainment, visual and performing arts to develop awareness of a person’s significance within the community. Provide scholarships to families and artist within the community to expand their growth within the arts recreationally. Assist in the growth of individuals from earlier learning to advance within the variety of the arts.
